• A great place to stay

  After a long stage of 40km on Camino Frances, this was a perfect place for me. Clean room and toilets, a very cute and welcoming host and perfect food.

• Town without water but Los Canarios managed it.

  The very welcoming host mentioned that the town had a water problem. Rumours went that for that reason other albergues had closed, but at Los Canarios the crestively managed it by having many 5 liter buckets filled. The communal diner was great too

• Fantastic stay wonderful hosts

  Stayed in a3 bed room , itself a pleasure, warm welcome , lovely courtyard with reclining chair. Enjoyed a lovely pilgrim .meal. Laetitia and her helper are extremely kind and welcoming .Would highly recommend

• What a gem!

  Yes, the bathroom and shower are on the first floor, but this host and her albergue were first rate! Everything was very clean, the beds and sheets were sooo comfortable! And dinner was outstanding! Met some great people and we all left as friends! It was a great stay!

• Pleasant staff, good location, but….

  The staff is helpful and friendly. The stay was fine, but water was available off/on all afternoon. Comfy bed with real sheets and real towel provided! The room layout is a bit awkward; if you have an older bladder that needs regular exercise throughout the night, be prepared to walk downstairs, through the dining room and into the facilities.

• Delicious food and great sleep

  Alojamento los Canários isn’t just an albergue with a restaurant, it’s a beacon of hope at the end of 17k of mind games. Food at dinner was stunningly delicious and very filling. Beds were very comfortable - some of the best sleep I’ve gotten on the Camino. Worth the stay!

• Lovely place

  A nice bar and good food, decided to stay here on a really hot day. The room had a fan, comfortable beds, towels and linen bed sheets.

• Bad experience

  I had a very bad experience with trying to book on whatsapp. Was promised reservation for a bed. When I asked a question about the higher than normal Albergue Price, I Got a message back that the reservation was cancelled. Tried to contact Them straight after, but was ghosted and never Got Any answer back.

• Welcoming couple

  We stayed here in a room with bunk beds. Blankets, linens and towels were provided. The couple that runs the albergue walked and dried laundry for 8 euros. The store is well supplied and the bar is separate from the dining area for pilgrims. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and rested well.

• Delicious food

  The food here is made with so much love and passion. The best I've had on the camino! And I t is served with love and caring for the pilgrims. Lovely smiles abound!

• Warm welcome

  This is such a warm friendly hostel. The host was all about making everything easy. Very clean. Cozy blankets and sturdy ladders for those headed to the top bunk. Room was light and airy. Food was great. Good spot to spend the night after the walk from Condes.

• Great host in Maxx

  The lentil soup is fabulous and nourishing. Comfy soft blankets, hot shower. A great stay

• Loved it here.

  Small rooms with 4 single beds which were very comfortable. A small shop for supplies and ice cream. Lovely evening meal served by a friendly host. Good Albergue in a good village.

• Nice Place!

  After a long hot day, this was a wonderful spot to stop. Kind hosts. Small rooms with only five beds were a little cramped but there are plenty of common areas to hang out in. Great place to wash your clothes and dinner was good. Breakfast options are good too.

• Comfortable bed & nice host

  I booked a private room & didn’t get the pictured room as it was already booked. Room was clean, bed very comfortable & there was a fan which was wonderful as it was very hot. Meals were okay the only real issue was that the room was upstairs & shower & toilet downstairs.

• Very friendly hosts!

  Nice rooms with few beds in each. I stayed in a room with 2 bunk beds. Duvets and sheets on the beds and you get a towel when you arrive. I felt very welcome and would definitely stay here again! Bed 16 euro and tasty pilgrim menu 12 euro (3rd October 2022)

• Stayed here and liked it

  Welcoming hosts, clean albergue with actual bed sheets and duvet. Stop here if you think the next stop is too far. And the albergue is actually the first building on the right entering the town. Map is wrong
