Camino Portugués — Topographical map

About this Camino

The second most-walked Camino, and a gentler one. Most begin in Porto — inland through Barcelos and Ponte de Lima, or along the Atlantic on the Coastal way — crossing into Spain at Tui or Valença and on through Pontevedra to Santiago. Expect Portuguese warmth, cobbled lanes, vineyards and ocean air, with flatter days than the Francés.

  • Start on the riverfront in Porto
  • The medieval bridge and old town at Ponte de Lima
  • Choose the Central interior or the Atlantic Coastal route

Points of interest on the map

The map shows fountains, picnic areas, historical sites, ATMs, lookouts and more, right where they are on the trail.
