• Loved it! Fabulous place to stay

  Only 4 beds, real sheets and pillow cases, very large clean shower room, real towel if you ask. Friendly and accommodating hosts, and a fantastic dinner is included in the price. The dinner was outstanding with two different types of salad and pizzas to die for. I would most definitely stay again.

• One of the best stays of the camino

  Homemade pizza and churros, Oreo the dog is so sweet and loves a pat. Only four beds. Welcoming hosts. Good music. Good shower. Washing machines and handwashing facilities. Nice outdoor chill zone. What more could you want?

• Easily our favorite stay

  There are only 4 beds, and we were able to reserve all 4 for our family. There is a garage where we could keep our bikes. The hosts made us delicious salad and pizza, and joined us for the meal. In the morning, they made churros. The food was delicious, but it was the hospitality that made this such a special place. And our daughters loved their dog, Oreo.

• A superior experience

  David and Kira go out of their way to make your stay with them and enjoyable time. There's is a shrine to rock. Memorabilia and great music. Only 4 beds make it more intimate. The place is so clean and blankets are provided on request. Dinner was made by David, who baked bread to go with the salad. Then came the famous rock and roll pizzas. Excellent. We dined with the hosts and their young volunteer, Anna. The dinner was finished off by a selection of chupitos. All this was performed under the watchful eye of David's dog, Oreo. Highly recommended.

• Don’t miss this little gem on the Camino!!

  This little Albergue is one of the best on the Camino!!!! The owners are so helpful, Kind and thoughtful. They go out of your way to make you feel at home! And the dinner!! Superb Salad, pizza and wine!! We’re Vegan, and the pizza was out of this world good! Lastly, by far the best shower we’ve had on the Camino!!! Stay Here!!!

• Smallest Albergue on the Camino! Only 4 Beds!

  Super clean, only 4 beds, communal dinner with garlic bread, incredible tomato & mozzarella salad, huge pizzas and ice cream cake for desert! Churros and coffee in the morning before heading out to climb up to O’Cebreiro. This Albergue is totally amazing. Don’t miss out… stay here!

• Focus on people & the albergue

  David and Kira have created a fun and inviting atmosphere for pilgrims after their walk. The restaurant is closed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday during the day & evening allowing them to focus their efforts on their guests and their comfort. Delicious food. Gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy free options abound at this location. We had garlic bread with meatballs and tomato sauce. Two different delicious real salads with fresh herbs and ingredients from their garden. Two different types of pizza and ice cream cake for dessert. One member was gluten free and I ate the gluten free as well as normal pizza and both were excellent. They have great attention to detail and want to ensure that you enjoy your stay and have good conversation. They have a dog named Oreo who is the sweetest cutest puppy on the Camino. He is hands down one of the best features of the Vagabond. The theme of the restaurant is rock & roll and everything is beautifully decorated. They have a great patio and lots of umbrellas / awnings for shade. They offer group dinner. And have a breakfast selection for purchase. Checkin starts at 2 PM. Have a washing machine available for $. Super clean. Nice shower. Multiple toilets. Swimming hole located nearby. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

• Definetly recommend

  I cannot emphasize enough how nice this place is. Good, clean facilities and the warmest welcome I’ve had on the camino so far. Slept great in the bed with only 4 beds. And the pilgrims menu with David’s pizza was a delicious change to the previous days.

• Amazing stop

  The previous glowing reviews are all accurate. My room was so comfortable and they provided a heater given the recent cold snap. I got my laundry done, was pampered with the pizza/salad/dessert and wonderful conversation with Kira/David. The other reviews are also correct - Oreo is the star of the show. • Best place on the Camino

  We loved Everything about this place. From the moment we stepped through the gate and was met by David, Kira,Cecilia and Oreo the dog. We were treated like old friends and made to feel very welcome and that they were really happy to have us there. Our bedroom with 2 bunk beds and private shower and toilet was very spacious and spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The highlight of a our stay was the food. We sat down with David Kira & Cecilia and had the most amazing meal of mixed salad , a large plate of tomatoes and mozzarella on a bed of rocket and the very best pizza’s we have tasted washed down with a couple of beers and wine. The best meal by far that we have had in the 25 days we have been walking the Camino De Santiago. Please do your self a favor and try out this place. In our opinion this is by far the best place we have stopped at on the Camino. Even if you don’t want to stay the night at least stop and try the delicious pizzas and the warm welcome you will receive from them at Vagabond vieiras you won’t be disappointed.

• Over the top

  Do yourself a favor and stay at Vagabond Vieiras. The coolest and sweetest hosts. Dinner is included in the price and it is the absolut best meal I have got on the Camino. The rooms are new, modern and clean. Highly recommended😊

• Fine

  If you need a place to stay it’s totally fine. It doesn’t really have a comfortable hang out zone. You can sit out front at the pizza restaurant and have a beverage and relax, but it’s still on the road in front of a pizza shop. The food is great, Oreo the dog is the star of the show, and beds and bathroom were clean. Overall a fine stay. 6/10

• Go out of your way to stay here

  Such a kind energy, fantastic food, beautiful quiet atmosphere. I felt so at home here. Oreo is a great pooch to welcome you. After a long day, coming in to this albergue completely made the long walk worth it.

• Great place to stay for pilgrims !

  Very lovely stay, very attentive service and friendliness from multi-lingual hosts who put their guests first (above walk-in locals).and were warm and welcoming even to soggy pilgrims. David's pizza and churros were great!

• Good vibes

  Stayed here June 7 and I’m so glad I did! Super chill vibe, got my laundry done, ate some dang good pizza (the dough is what’s up, David has nailed that recipe), got a good nights sleep (went for the single bed) and got to pet Oreo who is the goodest boy! Definitely make a stop here if you can. It was a solid rest before heading up to O Cebreiro. I felt welcome and cared for here!

• Best Albergue so far!

  This albergue is at the far edge of town, easy to think you've walked past it! Fantastic vibe and amazing food. David and Kira are so welcoming and provide such a unique albergue experience. Clean, new decor and beds, amazing food. I spent a little extra for a single bed (not a bunk) and had a great night's sleep. Laundry facilities too. Worth stopping by!
